Cascais International Health Forum 2026 | Live Longer, Live Better
15/09/2026Promptly Health will be attending the Cascais International Health Forum 2026, taking place on 24–25 September at the Estoril Congress Center, under the theme "Live Longer, Live Better." The Promptly team will be at Stand 6 throughout the event, represented by Tiago Martins, Francisco Ramires and José Sequeiros.
This year's forum, held under the High Patronage of the Office of the President of the Republic, brings together healthcare leaders, policymakers, and industry players around one central question: how do we build health systems, companies, and public policies for societies that live longer? The programme speaks directly to the questions the sector is already asking:
How longevity is reshaping health systems, the economy, and public policy
How healthcare, industry, and technology partners can compete globally on data-driven innovation
How interoperability and data quality translate into better population health outcomes
How Europe can build the infrastructure needed to make the European Health Data Space operational
Across these discussions, one thread connects them all: none of it is possible without access to robust, real-world clinical data.

Biomedical innovation is increasingly decided by who can turn health data into knowledge, faster and at scale. The European Health Data Space (EHDS) gives Europe the legal framework for this, but regulation alone isn't enough without the infrastructure to make it operational. This roundtable asks whether Europe has what it takes to compete globally, and what role pharma, healthcare systems, and technology partners should play in building this new economy of health research.
