At Promptly Health, our impact starts with people — and our sales team plays a key role in turning vision into value across Europe and beyond. In this edition of our Sales Team Spotlight Series, we’re excited to introduce Luís Machado, our Key Account Manager for Portugal.
🚀 What does your role involve?
As a Sales & Partnerships Developer at Promptly Health, based in France, I lead strategic collaborations with hospitals, health systems, and life sciences companies to deliver impactful Real-World Evidence (RWE) programs. I coordinate cross-functional teams to deploy health data solutions and ensure projects align with partner goals and regulatory standards.
I also play a key role in identifying and advancing new commercial opportunities to support Promptly’s growth in the French market and beyond.
💡 What excites you most about working in digital health?
It is the ability to turn real-world data into meaningful insights that improve patient outcomes, accelerate research, and support more informed decision-making. It’s a space where technology and purpose intersect in powerful and concrete ways.
⚙️ What’s a big challenge (or opportunity) you see in your market?
One challenge—and opportunity—I see in the French market is the fragmentation of health data and the slow pace of interoperability. However, with increasing momentum behind health innovation and public-private partnerships, there’s strong potential to build sustainable, data-driven healthcare models.
