Meet the Team – Tazmin Chiles, Business Development UK
04/07/2025Introducing: Tazmin Chiles
Our Sales Team Spotlight Series
🚀 What does your role involve?
In Business Development at Promptly, I manage and grow our network of data partners - building new relationships and identifying commercial opportunities that support research and innovation, with the aim of improving care delivery.
With a background in neuroscience and data analysis, I’ve spent several years helping public sector organisations adopt evidence-based practice, and I’m passionate about the responsible use of health data to benefit patients and the health system. By strengthening relationships between the NHS and industry, we help ensure the right treatments reach the right people - guided by real-world evidence of their safety and effectiveness.
I’m committed to ensuring my work advances healthcare that is driven by evidence and focused on outcomes - contributing to health services that are efficient and accessible.
💡 What excites you most about working in digital health?
I love that I get to support organisations in generating the evidence needed to bring innovative treatments and technologies to market, and to the right patients, more quickly. Real-world data gives us a much more accurate picture of how care works in reality, not just in trials. And as data becomes richer and infrastructure improves, we’re helping make healthcare safer, more responsive to change, and based on evidence.
⚙️ What’s a big challenge (or opportunity) you see in your market?
There’s a growing need across the NHS - and globally - to demonstrate outcomes (especially now, following the 10-Year Plan). Good quality data on care outcomes and patient experience is more important than ever, but many organisations still lack the infrastructure to collect, interpret, and act on it effectively. That’s a huge challenge, but also an opportunity for innovators to support this shift.
❤️ What makes Promptly’s mission meaningful to you?
I care about using data to support good decision-making - using evidence that reflects the real world and leads to improved services, reduces health inequalities and improves health outcomes for people. Promptly shares these values, working to make health data more accessible for research and innovation in the safest and most ethical way - through federation and trusted networks. This ensures that sensitive health data is accessed securely by organisations that handle it responsibly.
🌱 A fun fact or hobby outside of work?
I’m a huge music lover - always hunting for new artists and gigs, and I love to travel!
