Meet the Team – Sion Rosser, Key Account Manager for NHS Wales

19/05/2025

Introducing: Sion Rosser

Our Sales Team Spotlight Series

At Promptly Health, our mission is powered by people — and our sales team plays a vital role in building trusted partnerships across Europe and beyond. In this new series, we’re excited to introduce the people behind the progress. First up: meet Sion, our Key Account Manager for NHS Wales.

🚀 What does your role involve?

As Key Account Manager, I oversee the commercial side of the All Wales PROMs Programme, working closely with our Technical and Delivery teams. My focus is making sure the programme delivers on its promises — from agreed KPIs and milestones to strategic ambitions.

Beyond that, I also support the longer-term goals of the programme. That means helping NHS Wales explore new and innovative ways to create more value from patient-reported data and real-world evidence.

💡 What excites you most about working in digital health?

Healthcare is full of systems that don’t connect, data that’s hard to understand, and care pathways that aren’t always designed with patients in mind. I’m drawn to digital health because it tackles real-world problems that matter.

What excites me most is the potential we have in healthcare — if we get the technology right.
That means:

  • Helping clinicians access the right information at the right time

  • Making patients feel more heard, more involved, and better supported

  • And delivering care that’s not only reactive, but also preventative and personalised

⚙️ What’s a big challenge (or opportunity) you see in your market?

Right now, everyone’s talking about AI in healthcare — and rightfully so. But AI is only as good as the data it learns from. That’s where we need to focus: getting the data strategy right.

That means:

  • Structured, high-quality, interoperable data

  • Consistent and ethical data collection

  • Data that respects privacy but is ready to support innovation

If we do that well, we unlock the ability to scale preventative care and make better decisions — for both clinicians and patients.

❤️ What makes Promptly’s mission meaningful to you?

Promptly’s mission stands out because it’s focused on making healthcare more:

  • Outcomes-driven

  • Data-informed

  • Patient-centred

For me, that’s not just a tagline — it’s what we need more of in healthcare.

🌳 A fun fact or hobby outside of work?

I’m a big fan of the outdoors — and I’ve got a love/hate relationship with the game of golf (depending on how many balls I’ve lost). I’m also a loyal supporter of Arsenal and Swansea City, and I’m always up for a good Netflix binge.
